Founded in 2008, Root Force is a collectively owned farm located in Montpelier, Virginia. We offer a variety of high quality, ecologically-raised foods produced without the use of synthetic chemicals, hormones, or pesticides. Our products include pasture/woodland raised pork, poultry, and turkey; as well as raw honey and mushrooms.

Root force is centered on principles of sustainability, land stewardship and community building. Our goal is to design agricultural systems that not only sustain the health of the environment, but also empower local communities. When managing our farm, we are inspired by the patterns and rhythms commonly found in the natural world. In addition, we believe the information regarding farm management practices should be fully transparent and freely available.
